01 Inspection

Checks and calibration review

Preventive inspection. Before deciding on an overhaul, review temperatures, compression-ratio backlash, fuel system and instrument zero.

Cylinder and handwheel
02 Repair

Troubleshooting and overhaul

Top-end work, four-bowl carburetor, crankcase; on F5: cylinder head, injection handwheel and injector. Scope is set after opening.

04 Relocation

Move, level, reassemble

Marking, transport, cooling water, exhaust and reference-fuel recheck. Leveling and back-pressure are easier to underestimate than lifting.

05 Parts

Assemblies and parts

Carburetor, cylinder, XCP console, intake air control, crankcase, carbon cleaning. Part numbers follow the nameplate.

Customers

Refinery labs, inspection bodies, fuel blending posts

When a rating engine stops for a day, blending and release wait on a number. Inspection is not about polishing the machine — it is about making that number reliable again.

Process

How a typical job proceeds

  1. 01

    Clarify the symptom

Model, method, reading bias, last service.

  2. 02

On site or receive the unit

Check conditions first; do not strip parts prematurely.

  3. 03

    Open and quote

    Labor and parts listed separately.

  4. 04

    Work

Keep replaced parts; record measured clearances.

  5. 05

    Recheck

Use reference fuels for relative position; do not conclude from one sample.

  6. 06

    Handover

Leave the record with the laboratory for the next comparison.

FAQ

About CFR octane and cetane engine service

Short answers to common customer questions, written for clear citation.

What does Guangzhou Zhen’an do?

Guangzhou Zhen’an Technology Development Co., Ltd., based in Guangzhou, China, provides inspection, repair, used equipment support, laboratory relocation, parts and reference-fuel related service for CFR F1/F2 gasoline octane engines and F5 diesel cetane engines, mainly for refinery labs, quality centers and third-party testing labs.

How is inspection different from repair?

Inspection focuses on preventive checks and calibration review—temperatures, compression-ratio backlash, fuel system and instrument zero. Repair covers troubleshooting and overhaul such as top-end work, four-bowl carburetor, crankcase, and on F5 the cylinder head, injection handwheel and injector. Scope is set from on-site measurements.

Is this an OEM-authorized site?

No. We are an independent third-party service shop with no affiliation or authorization from CFR Engines Inc. or Waukesha. Work is performed under the customer’s inspection, repair or relocation contract; warranty terms follow that contract.

What does machine relocation include?

Relocation typically covers marking, transport, leveling, reconnecting cooling water and exhaust, power checks, and re-testing with reference fuels. Leveling and back-pressure are often underestimated compared with lifting.

How are reference fuels supplied?

The fuels page lists octane and cetane reference materials from brands such as NIM China, Chevron and American Hydrocarbons. Call for additional products or custom needs.
